MPP is a hiking trail leading past the vineyards and Mohokos, the peak of Međimurje, standing at an altitude of 343.58 m. Mohokos is a checkpoint for the Croatian Hiking Trail (KT HPO 3.1.), the "Highest Peaks of Croatian Counties" trail, and the Zagorje Hiking Trail (ZPP). The starting point of the MPP is Trg Republike square in the center of Čakovec, and the trail finishes in the center of Štrigova. Along the route, various lookouts offer views of mountains such as Kalnik, Ivanščica, Strahinjščica, Ravna Gora, Maceljsko gorje, as well as the mountains in three neighbouring countries—Slovenia, Hungary, and Austria. This trail represents the "backbone" of the hiking routes in Upper Međimurje. The MPP is accessible year-round, except in cases of heavy snowfall.
