The promenade starts at the Zelešće fishing lodge at the eastern end of Mursko Središće. The trail follows the lovely Sveta Barbara promenade in Mursko Središće, the northernmost town in Croatia, and it finishes at the country's northernmost point, the well-known excursion site Mlin na Muri (Cro. Mill on the Mura) in Žabnik. The trail runs along the Mura River, passing through a forested and wetland environment, offering an immersive experience of nature. The gravel path is very comfortable for walking, and rest areas with refreshment options are available along the way. In Žabnik, the trail connects to the Mura by Sveti Martin educational and recreational trail. The promenade is accessible in all seasons.
