You can start walking along this route at the Miller's House in Žabnik or from Terme Sveti Martin spa resort. Starting in Žabnik, the path leads along the Mura river to the bridge towards Hotiza (the Mura by Sveti Martin trail section). At this point, you can choose to continue on a longer route along the Mura backwaters to Jurovec, then onward to Jurovčak and the spa resort, or take a slightly shorter path to Jurovec along the Gradiščak stream. Starting at the spa resort, you return past the golf course to the peak of Venec (297 m) in Gradiščak and continue back towards Sveti Martin or Žabnik. The section along the Mura river and the backwaters of the Ciganjščak and Gradiščak streams is very scenic and captivating. Reaching Jurovčak and Gradiščak, you get to admire stunning views of the hills in Međimurje, the Mura Valley, and the Lendava hills. Along the way, you can take a break at an excursion site. The trail is accessible all year round.
