A shorter version of the Štrigova Circular Trail (ŠKS) leads from Štrigova to Mađerka. Once there, visitors can either go up the newly built lookout tower or take a break at the Štampar Winery. With favourable weather conditions, Mađerkin Breg (432 m) offers breathtaking panoramic views—from Štrigova and the Lendava Hills in the north, Jeruzalem, Pohorje, and the Austrian Alps in the west, and all the way to Ivanščica, Ravna Gora, and Strahinjčica in the south. On the way back, after descending to Leskovec, you can take a detour to Cmrečnjak Winery or go straight uphill to Štrigovčak (300 m) before returning to Štrigova along the Međimurje Hiking Trail (MPP). Along the route, you can stop at rest areas and listen to audio stories about the life of Emilija Krauthaker, accessible via smartphone.
